We are an Art Duo based in Los Angeles ▼ Gabe + Merle Streep ▼ We take living photographs that move and breathe | We make underground suburban pop/trap music ▼ The concept for the video portrait was inspired partially by warhol's infamous screen tests, and partially by the magic photos in the harry potter movies. We hope to inspire the generation with this new form of photography we created.

We come from a small rich neighborhood in the Midwest. It's so tight there, life is so much more simple. Out here in LA shits nuts, the kids, the money, the drugs. I swear to god, it's too much sometimes. There are days that I just wanna go home, other days I feel like this is the most beautiful town in the world. LA is just that type of place I guess. We moved to Hollywood to make it in the industry. Nothing is real here, everything is fake, everything is a facade. I guess that I love and hate that about LA. It's a fantasy, and everyone is trying to make it, everyone is trying to be famous.

We moved to LA with literally less then ten dollars in our pockets. We're still completely broke, and trying our hardest to make ends meet. LA is an amazing place though, it's everything that we thought it would be plus more. Trying to make it in Hollywood is fucking hard; until we do we just document everything through our living photographs that we have all throughout the site.
